Gate Code Access for Emergency Response
Help Us Help You: Gate Code Access for Emergency Response

At Evans Valley Fire District #6, our top priority is providing fast, effective, and life-saving service during emergencies. Whether it’s a fire, medical crisis, or rescue operation, every second matters—and one of the simplest ways you can help is by ensuring we have quick access to your property.
Why We’re Asking for Your Gate Code
Many homes and businesses in our area are protected by security gates. While these provide privacy and peace of mind, they can also cause delays in emergency response if we don’t have the access code.
Without a gate code, our crews may spend critical minutes trying to gain entry—time that could be used saving a life, stopping a fire, or administering care.
How to Share Your Gate Code
Sharing your code is easy, secure, and could save lives.
Just complete the form below and submit.
Your code will go directly to Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon (ECSO)—our dispatch center. It is stored securely in their system and only becomes visible to our firefighters and paramedics when you call 911 and help is dispatched.
Your Privacy Is Protected
We understand how important security and privacy are.
✔️ Your gate code is confidential.
✔️ Only visible during an active 911 call.
✔️ Stored securely by ECSO and never shared publicly.
Is It Required?
No—sharing your gate code is completely voluntary.
But we strongly encourage all gated property owners to participate. It’s a simple step that can make a huge difference when lives are on the line.
Why It Matters
- Faster Emergency Response: We can reach you without delay.
- Peace of Mind: You’ll know that help is never locked out.
- Stronger Community Safety: Together, we protect everyone better.
Have Questions?
If you have questions or concerns about how your information is handled, please contact ECSO at 541-770-4784 and speak to dispatch directly.
🙌 Thank You for Supporting a Safer Evans Valley
By sharing your gate code, you’re helping us serve you and your neighbors better, faster, and more safely. Let’s work together to make sure emergency crews can always reach those in need.
Stay Safe. Stay Prepared.
