We have no budget for development of our website or computer based applications, so the items listed on this page were developed by volunteers.
We appreciate these volunteers & their contributions to our fire district. The items they've developed are available to assist the community and the fire district.
Because they are made by volunteers, EVFD presents them as a "free" download but they come "as is" & with no guarantee.
Even though they are "use at your own risk", they have all been tested by our volunteer developers & they have found them to work perfectly and without problems on their equipment.

"We've Got an App for that!".
Evans Valley is happy to announce the release of the EVFD iPhone App.
This iPhone Application will offer another quick & easy way for everyone in Jackson County to check either the Fire Danger Level or collect Burn Day information every day.
The information presented by this app will updated on a daily basis by our webmaster, but on those days when he isn't available - the date of the last update will be clearly visible.
This iPhone App is a "free download", for those with an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch using version 2.x of the Apple iPhone software.

Evans Valley is happy to announce the release of a Fire Danger Level/Burn Day Widget compatible with the Dashboard area of MacOS 10.4.x & 10.5.x
This Widget offers a quick & easy way for everyone in Jackson County to check either the Fire Danger Level or collect Burn Day information for that day.
The information used by this Widget is updated on a daily basis by our webmaster, but on those days when he isn't available - the date of the last update is clearly visible.
