EVFD would like to congratulate our newest Board Director and "Thank" him for stepping up to fill the vacancy left on the board when Les Brooks resigned earlier this month.
Additional congratulations to the Boards new Chair, Dennis Feeley, and new Vice-Chair, Keith Lynn.

CALL
"Two Calls: Power Line Down & MVC: Car into Another Downed Tree"
EVFD responded to two separate calls relating to downed trees after the storm blew in yesterday.
The first one was downed tree and power lines on Queens Branch Road & the second was an MVC: car into downed tree on West Evans Creek Road.

"FF1 Academy Graduation"
EVFD had three graduates for this term's Firefighter 1 Academy and wish to congratulate Jake, Logan & Mike for their dedication and hard work in passing the academy.
We would like to "Thank" all four members of the EVFD Board for attending, as well as, a great number of family, friends, EVFD volunteers and staff.
This was a very happy occasion and we're proud of our graduates and those who support them.

Richard K. passes his Physical Agility test as he prepares to enter the Firefighter Academy to become a volunteer firefighter at the young age of 59.
We applaud his dedication & are thrilled to have him as an EVFD Volunteer!

"Les Brooks Resigns"
Citing health concerns, Les Brooks has resigned from the EVFD Board of Directors effective immediately.
He's given over 20 years of service to the Evans Valley Fire District & we are sad to see him leave.
Those interested in filling the vacancy on the EVFD Board should contact Chief Fuller during normal business hours.

"MVC: Tractor - Mercy Flight Response - 1600 block E. Pleasant Creek Road"
EVFD responded to a MVC on the 1600 block E. Pleasant Creek Road involving a tractor.
Mercy Flights was called in to transport.
