30 July 2006: Evans Fire District #6 ANNOUNCEMENT: There are four new certified First Responders at EVFD#6. They are Mike Allen, Sean Hillis, Beverly Nolan and Patricia Ott.
The first responder course began in May of this year and consisted of 45 hours of intensive classroom study. The students took time out of their busy lives to come down to the fire station at night to complete this course. This is in addition to the regular fire training that the volunteers must attend. We are very pleased to have four more certified first responders to help better serve our community. Bill Fuller/Fire Chief

25 July 2006: Evans Fire District #6 ANNOUNCEMENT: On Saturday July 22,2006 three new First Responders were certified at EVFD#6. They are Mike Allen, Beverly Nolan and Patricia Ott.

7 July 2006: Evans Fire District #6 ANNOUNCEMENT: The new tender chassis was brought to Prineville, Oregon on Wednesday. In 90 to 120 days it will be fitted with a 3500 gallon water tank and a 1000 gallon per minute fire rated pump. We are anxiously waiting for its return.
