Evans Valley Fire/Rescue is governed by five directors elected by the voters of the District. Each Director normally serves a four year term.

The Present Board Members Are:

	CHAIR: Leslie Brooks:      Born in Liverpool, England emigrated to U.S. as a child after WW2.      Served in U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1967 (active duty) and retired from U.S.N.R. Seabees in 1992. Served in Viet Nam in 1964 & 1966. Trained as diesel mechanic in the Navy and continued in that field until retirement in 2005      Moved to Evans Valley in 1976. Joined EVFD #6 in 1976 and retired as Captain in 1996      Hobbies: collecting WW2 memorabilia and research on WW2
	VICE CHAIR: Dennis Feeley:      Born & raised in Los Angeles, California. After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era he joined the Los Angeles Police Department. e retired after 30 years of service.      Moving to the Evans Valley, he became a volunteer firefighter - first responder. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2001 and re-elected in 2005 and now serves as the vice chairman of the board.
	SECRETARY/TREASURER: Larry Tuttle:            Resident of Evans Valley since 1978. Associated with Evans Valley Fire in various capacities since 1981: first as a citizen volunteer contractor helping build the new station; next as a Budget Committee member; then for 17 years as a firefighter serving at various times as First Responder, Engineer, Captain, Apparatus Operator, Company Officer and Training Officer. Board of Director since November, 2001.
	MEMBER: Keith Lynn:      Born & raised in Orange, California. Graduated from Orange High School in 1949. A real 49'er.      After graduating from high school he joined the U.S. Air Force and was assigned to the Air Force Flight Test Center at EdwardsAir Force Base for one year before being assigned to the Air Force Intelligence Service in Washington, D.C.      After discharging from the Air Force he attended Northrop Aeronautical Institute where he studied design engineering. Subsequently he joined the work force during which time he also became involved with the Orange County Fire Department. He was stationed at the Silverado Canyon Fire Station, No. 14 for 23 years.      During that time he climbed the ranks from firefighter, engineer, captain, assistant chief and finally chief of the station. He also received specialized training in hazardous materials handling, heavy rescue, mountain rescue and radio active materials monitoring and handling.      He also served on a number of other group boards including two water districts, a church board, two terms as president of the County of Orange Fire Chief's Association, and one term on the Orange Unified School District (one of the largest in the country).      Keith was appointed to the Evans Valley Fire District Board of Directors as the result of vacancies created by a recall of some of the former members. He was subsequently elected to serve a four year term.
	MEMBER: Tony Strickland:      Tony was born in Virginia, but raised in Southern Oregon.      He has been involved in the fire service since August 1987, working as a volunteer firefighter, wildland firefighter and career firefighter.      He started his paid career as a firefighter with Evans Valley from January 1993 through August 1994.      He then moved on to the City of Grants Pass Fire / Rescue Department, where he is currently employed.      Tony moved to the Evans Valley in 2001 with his wife and children.      He has served on the Budget Committee for the last three years.      Tony enjoys the outdoors, cooking and reading.

     Regular Board of Director's meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Fire Station.
